Two best friends, Johnny and David found themselves in different cities, Johnny in Cincinnati and David in California, but connected over a 1 a.m. Xbox chat. That's when they dreamed up the idea of a Philly cheesesteak stand that could become something bigger.
Not long after that night, Johnny made the big move to California. It wasn't all smooth sailing, they started out on the streets, dealt with a lot of hurdles, and yes, even had their equipment stolen along the way. But through all those challenges, they kept pushing forward.
Mike approached David and Johnny after recognizing the potential in their concept and decided to invest in the company to launch its first brick-and-mortar location. With his proven experience in building and scaling successful businesses, combined with a strong technology background, the three formed a powerful and complementary team.
And now that idea has grown into Jawny's a real brick-and-mortar spot in California. It's a story of friendship, determination, and turning a late-night idea into something real, no matter what got in their way.
